Management of Nairit plant promises not to punish strikers

The disseminated reports that the management of Nairit Plant CJSC has requested the lists of those, who participate in protest actions with respect to non-payment of wages for four months are not true, the company press service reported.

On November 11-11, the plant employees held a protest action near the RA governmental building and then residence of the Armenian President.

Armenian leader Serzh Sargsyan has already instructed the relevant bodies to take action to pay one-month wages during the next 10 days and the remaining sum within a month.

The company also reported that employees of the plant held several protest actions during the past years, however, strikers have never been treated badly. The lists of strikers will be checked, indeed, as people, who have already resigned, may also be among them.

The press service of Nairit Plant again urges not to publish unverified data.
