. Grinding of Russian natural diamonds will be held in 43 enterprises of Armenia. It was informed by Gagik Mkrtchyan, the head of the jewelry industry department of the RA sale and industry ministry, to “Arka” information agency. According to his words, at the allocation of 300 thousand carats of diamonds it will be taken into consideration a number of factors. Particularly, the guarantee of the whole received volume grinding, the increasing of the employees number, the increasing of the enterprise production and export volume.
It should be mentioned also that armenian-russian intergovernmental protocol ” On the delivery volume of the diamonds to Armenia in 2001″ was signed 26, April of the year. According to the protocol, the Russian side is going to ensure the 300 thousand carat natural diamond delivery to Armenia, in 2001.
