THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF GEORGIA STATES THAT THE MILITARY PARTNERSHIP OF GEORGIA AND TURKEY IS NOT DIRECTED AGAINST ARMENIA

. Foreign Minister of Georgia Irakly Menagharishvili stated, that the Georgian-Turkish cooperation is not directed against any third countries, particularly Armenia. He made this declaration while commenting the Armenian Foreign Minister’s concern about the developing military partnership between Tbilisi and Ankara, bringing to subordination of Georgia to Turkey. According to Menagharishvili’s words, “Georgia will never take any steps directed against Armenia”. “The disturbance of some representatives of the Armenian political elite does not have any grounds,”- said he.
According to the information given by “Mediamax” agency, during the past four years the total sum of grants, provided by Turkey for the development of the Georgian army, makes 15 million dollars.
