Management MIX CEO Raffy Semerjian said that Armenia’s blockade it the biggest problem for attraction of foreign investments to the country.
According to him, the process of investments attraction to the country should be more dynamic. “Armenia needs to improve the investment environment, provide tax and financial privileges to foreign investors,” said Semerjian.
Besides, according to him, Armenia needs to create branding to attract foreign investors.
“For example, people associate Singapore with high technologies. Armenia also needs to be associated with some brand for people,” noted Semerjian.
Semerjian believes that light industry and renewable energy are the priority fields for attraction of foreign investments in Armenia.
