A convoy of ten trucks had to take special equipment and high explosives away from the depot which, according to the Russian-Georgian agreement, is subject to liquidation. “BS PRESS” agency informs that yesterday the locals blocked the exits of the Russian military depot in Akhalkalaki and did not allow the military to remove the equipment. By this action the residents of Akhalkalaki region of Georgia, settled by Armenians, express their protest against the decision to liquidate the Russian depot. The headquarters of the Transcaucasus alignment of the Russian armed forces have addressed the Embassy of the RF in Tbilisi and the leadership of Georgia a request to secure the normal regime of liquidation of the military object.
