Renowned tenor Placido Domingo said that he had dreamed of visiting Armenia for many years.
“It is a great honor for me and my group to perform in such country, as Armenia,” Domingo told a press conference in Yerevan.
According to the singer, while scheduling his tours abroad, he always wants to visit those countries, where he has not performed earlier. And this time it is Armenia’s turn.
The singer admitted that he is touched by the welcome in Armenia.
Asked what he has managed to see in Armenia, Domingo said: “Unfortunately, I have not managed to see much, as I have arrived for a short period. But I assure you that I will arrive as a tourist next time. Armenia is a country, for the study of which time is required.”
