JERUSALIM SHOULD HAVE A SPECIAL STATUS, HEAD OF ARMENIAN CHUTCH BELIEVES

YEREVAN, June 4. /Mediamax/. Head of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Catholicos Garegin II is for giving Jerusalem a special status.
All-Armenian Catholicos said this in his interview to the United Press International before finishing his parsonic visit to the USA. He noted that any solution should not jeopardize the sanctity of the holy places there.
“Whatever administration it may be, joint administration, or single, the important thing is that whoever manages or administers should not jeopardize the status of Jerusalem as a holy city and the free expression and the free movement for all faiths. That kind of open city,” Garegin II said. –0–
