Armenian Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan said that the Ministry is going to spare no efforts to prevent increase in gas tariffs in the country.
“We do our utmost to keep the price for gas at the current level,” Movsisyan told a press conference in Yerevan.
He noted that a new power generating unit of Yerevan thermal power plant (TPP) was launched on April 21, 2010.
“It was an important achievement of 2010, as we managed not to increase prices for electric power in 2010 along with growth in the price for gas,” concluded Movsisyan.
