VivaCell-MTS has announced that the network handled 4 739 081 SMS messages on December 31, the New Years Eve before midnight, with a further 3 654 031 on January 1, 2011.
18,181,127 calls were handled through VivaCell-MTS network on December 31, 2010 before midnight, and another 19 123 344 on January 1, 2011.
In total, 8 393 112 short messages and 37 304 471 calls were handled by VivaCell-MTS network on December 31, 2010 and January 1, 2011.
Compared to the same period of the previous year, the number of calls increased by 15%, the Company’s press office reported.
