Despite the defeat in the Australian Open Girls’ Singles tournament, Russia’s Margarita Gasparyan continues playing in pairs.
Together with Darya Gavrilova she broke through to ¼ finals after defeating an Australian pair 6:4, 6:4, gotennis.ru reported.
“We are taking the hint,” Gasparyan said. “Our rivals were strong but we were confident of our strengths and now we are preparing for the next match.”
