Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said that during official meetings Georgia always states that it is not going to sell a part of the gas pipeline connecting Russia and Armenia.
“Even if the pipeline is sold, Georgia will have international obligations, which clearly read that we have the right to transit and we pay for this transit. Georgia does not do a good deed for us by giving permission for gas transfer via its territory. We pay 10% for it. I believe that the Georgian leadership conceives importance of these matters,” Sargsyan said in an interview with Echo of Moscow.
