Yerevan Mayor’s office is taking action to clean snow off the streets and eliminate traffic jams after the major snowfall.
As of 1:30 p.m. work to clear streets and pavements of snow continue, with 46 snowploughs, 23 sand scattering units and 19 items of pavement cleaning equipment used.
Road police is actively assisting the works by taking steps to prevent traffic jams and road accidents, Yerevan Mayor’s office press service told PanARMENIAN.Net.
