The leadership of the CIS Council of the Collective Security Agreement expressed anxiety in view of the possible NATO forces deployment on Georgian territory. As reported by “Mediamax” agency, Secretary General of the Council of the Collective Agreement Nikolay Bordyuzha stated in Moscow today that the NATO infrastructures consolidation at the bounds of the member-states of the Agreement “at least arouses perplexity”. In his words, “the necessity of the NATO forces deployment planning on Georgian territory is difficult to understand”. “Is there a menace of military incursion?”- Bordyuzha asked, emphasizing that “in answer to all movements of such a kind, including actions taken in the neighborhood of the CSA member-states, necessary measures will be undertaken to prevent possible security threats”.
