YEREVAN, April 20. /Mediamax/. The “Urartu” Stepanakert factory on diamond cutting sells the finished production and byes raw materials in Belgium, Director of the factory said today in his interview to Mediamax.
According to him, up to 1 thousand karats of diamond per month can be cut in the factory where 40 people are working. In future, when another workshop with 60 working places starts, it will be possible to cut up to 3 thousand karats.
Andranik Sarkisian stressed that the training level of Karabakh specialists guarantees the high quality of the production, which has comparatively low prices. The factory can cut diamonds in accordance with international standards, which allows it to increase the number of foreign partners and enter world markets. –0–
