GERMAN GOVERNMENT PROMISES TO HELP THE REALIZATION OF SOUTH CAUCASUS REGIONAL COOPERATION PROGRAMS

YEREVAN, April 12. /Mediamax/. The development of regional cooperation in the South Caucasus must go parallel to the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
As Mediamax was informed today in the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian and German Minister for economic cooperation and development Haidemary Vichorek-Tzoyle said this today at a meeting in Yerevan.
The sides noted that the unsettlement of the Karabakh issue is in a certain degree impeding the full development of regional cooperation. Vardan Oskanian named “productive” the work of the mediators in the talks, held in Florida for Karabakh issue resolution.
Vardan Oskanian and Haidemary Vichorek-Tzoyle agreed that the development of bilateral Armenian-German relations might promote the establishment of stability in the region and its economic prosperity. On behalf of the Government of Germany, Haidemary Vichorek-Tzoyle expressed readiness to assist all the programs on development of regional cooperation. –0–
