Zenit St Petersburg stated that Sergei Semak will miss between four and six weeks after suffering a broken metatarsal in March 6 Russian Super Cup win over CSKA.
According to goal.com, a statement on the club's official website reads: "The medical examination to Sergei Semak, injured on March 6 during a match in the Super Cup of Russia, has unfortunately revealed a fractured metatarsal bone. Preview for his time of recovery is between four and six weeks."
Thus, Semak and another halfback of Russia Vladimir Bystrov, who has also got an injury, will miss the March 26 UEFA EURO 2012 Group B qualifier between the national teams of Armenia and Russia in Yerevan.
