INTERNATIONAL MEDIATORS VISIT TO NAGORNO KARABAKH CONFLICT REGION POSSIBLE IN EARLY JUNE, SUPPOSED IN BAKU

OSCE Minsk group co-chairmen’s visit to the region of Nagorno Karabakh conflict will be possible already in early June. As reported by Baku sources, this opinion was expressed by Azeri head of presidential machinery of foreign links department Novruz Mamedov. Commenting at the instance of journalists’ on Minsk group ex-co-chairman Hugh Pern’s statement running that the terms of the international mediators coming visit depend on Azeri party, he elucidated that negotiations between co-chairmen and parties on conflict last rather long, approximately 2 or 3 hours and now the matter concerns Heydar Aliyev’s possibility to have a detailed conversation with them and represent his position. “I suppose it will take place soon.”- N. Mamedov said.
