On March 14, Yerevan Chamber Music Hall will host an event to commemorate the slain editor-in-chief of Agos weekly, Hrant Dink.
The event will be opened by the Primate of the Diocese of Gougark in Armenia, Bishop Sepuh Chuljian. The editor-in-chief of Azg newspaper Hagop Avedikian and deputy dean of Yerevan State University’s Oriental Studies department Ruben Melkonyan will tell about the life and views of Dink. Turkish journalists Cengiz Aktar and Ali Bayramoglu were invited as guests of the event.
The event will feature exclusive photos of a French photographer of Armenian origin Max Svazlian, made at Dink’s funeral. Van musical ensemble will perform the melodies of Hamshen and Malatia.
The event is held within the framework of international conference entitled Armenian Genocide Awareness Building in Turkish Society due March 15, 2011 in Yerevan.
