ARMENIAN PRESIDENT TO PARTICIPATE IN SAINT PETERSBURG 300-TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS

On the invitation of Russian president Vladimir Putin Armenian leader Robert Kocharian will leave for Saint Petersburg May 30 to take part in the celebrations on the occasion of the 300-th anniversary of the city on Neva. As reported by Ashot Kocharian, the president’s press secretary, it is unclear yet, whether Armenian and Azeri presidents’ meeting will take place in Saint Petersburg. Meanwhile as reported by Azeri sources, Azeri leader Heydar Aliyev will also visit Saint Petersburg and it is not excepted that he will have a meeting with Robert Kocharian there.
