Google makes changes in search features. Now there’s another way to find more of what user want on Google by blocking the sites he/she don’t want to see.
The new feature called Block Results helps block domain’s user do not like or it’s offensive, pornographic or of generally low quality, The Official Google Blog announced.
Once user clicks the link to “Block all example.com results”, he/she will get a confirmation message, as well as the option to undo the choice. The domains user blocks are connected with their Google Account, so they need to sign in before confirming a block.
To access blocked sites users should visit Search Settings or click on the “Manage blocked sites” and then unlock them.
The new feature is rolling out today and tomorrow on google.com in English for people using Chrome 9+, IE8+ and Firefox 3.5+. It will be expanding to new regions, languages and browsers soon.
