Aronian tops Amber standings with 4.5 points

Armenia’s Levon Levon Aronian tied his 3rd round game against Magnus Carlsen of Norway at the 20th Amber Blindfold and Rapid Chess Tournament in Monaco.

Aronian tops the tournament standings with 4.5 points, followed by Magnus Carlsen (4.5 points) and India’s Viswanathan Anand (4 points).

In round 4, the Armenian grandmaster will face Vassily Ivanchuk of Ukraine.
