PERSIAN MOSQUE TO BE RESTORED IN KARABAKH

The French branch of “Shen” philanthropic organization has assumed the restoration of a Persian mosque situated in the Nagorno Karabakh ancient capital of Shushi. As member of the organization board Oshin Eghiazariants told “Free Artsakh” newspaper, the project is already submitted for consideration by the NKR ministry of town-planning. According to the intention of the project authors, a picture gallery and a museum will function in the restored mosque. “If we do not respect others’ culture, we will not be able to respect ours,” – O. Eghiazariants noted.
