As part of her official visit to Armenia, Swiss President Micheline Calmy-Rey met with Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.
During a working dinner, Sargsyan briefed Calmy-Rey on economic situation in the country, ways of development, the Armenian government’s actions aimed at overcoming the global crisis consequences, as well as implemented reforms.
The parties praised the Armenian-Swiss cooperation and discussed opportunities for boosting it in various sectors, specifically, tourism, education, agriculture and information technologies.
They also referred to the regional development, the RA governmental press service reported.
