YEREVAN, March 13. /Mediamax/. Ambassador of the Ukraine to Armenia Alexander Bozhko said today at a press conference in Yerevan that the main result of the visit of the Armenian President Robert Kocharian to Kiev, held on March 1-2, is the confidence of the parties that strengthening of bilateral political and economic cooperation meets the national interests of the two countries.
Bozhko said that during Armenian-Ukrainian talks, held in Kiev, the sides touched upon issues of possible participation of the Ukraine in the realization of Iran-Armenia gas pipeline construction. The Ukrainian diplomat said that at present Armenia is considering possibilities of drawing Ukrainian construction organizations to the realization of his project. –0–
