CALIFORNIA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES TO CONSIDER THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE BILL

YEREVAN, February 23. /Mediamax/. The House of Representatives in the state of California (USA) submitted a proposal to recognize the Armenian Genocide and accept April 24 as the remembrance day.
Daro Frommer, a Democrat Representative of the California House, introduced a proposal in which he stated: California recognizes the Armenian Genocide that took place between 1915 and 1923, and designates April 24 as the Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day.
Frommer in his proposal also included: In 1988 in the Azeri city of Sumgait, and in 1990 in Baku, 72 Armenians were killed while 350,000 Armenians were deported from Azerbaijan. –0–
