ARMENIAN AND RUSSIAN GOVERNMENTS TO SIGN AN AGREEMENT ON PRINCIPLES OF COOPERATION BETWEEN THE ADMINISTRATIONS OF RF SUBJECTS AND REGIONAL ADMINISTRATIONS OF ARMENIA

YEREVAN, February 15. /Mediamax/. The Russian Government approved the project of Agreement with the Government of Armenia about principles of cooperation between the administrations of the subjects of the Russian Federation and regional administrations of Armenia. Russian “MK-Novosti” agency reported, quoting the Department of governmental information of RF government staff.
In accord with the Agreement project, the administrations (governments) of the subjects of the Federation and regional administrations of Armenia may conclude agreements on questions inside their competence. These agreements are not international agreements, and the order of their achievement should not contradict the national legislation and the international agreements of RF and RA.
The concluded agreements are fulfilled according to the national legislation of both the countries. A subject for agreements between the sides cannot be questions concerning the sphere of foreign policy, defense, air communication, as well as questions which are in the authority of RF or RA and touch upon their state sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia is entrusted to sign this agreement for the Russian Government. -0-
