Members of U.S. Congress will join the Armenian American community in the 7th annual Capitol Hill Observance marking the 86th anniversary of the Genocide of Armenians of 1915. The Congressional Observance will take place on May 8 in the historic Senate Caucus Room, Mediamax was informed in the press service of the Armenian National Committee of America.
Senator Jack Reed and US Representative Joseph Knollenberg, who have been consistent supporters of initiatives to recognize and commemorate the Armenian Genocide, will take part in the ceremony. -0-
