CATHOLICOS OF ALL ARMENIANS TO PARTICIPATE IN CONSECRATION OF FIRST ARMENIAN CHURCH IN RUSSIAN KRASNOYARSK

May 15 Catholicos of all Armenians Garegin II will participate in a consecration ceremony of the first Armenian church of St. Sargis in Krasnoyarsk Russian city. As reported by the press service of the Holy Echmiadzin chancellery, during his trip the Patriarch will be accompanied by head of the Artsakh diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church archbishop Pargev, chairman of the Academy of Sciences of Armenia Fadey Sargsian and Yerevan State University rector Radik Martirossian. Representatives of regional and city administrations of Krasnoyarsk will also be present at the ceremony. Let us note that the construction works of the only trans-Ural Armenian church were launched in 2000.
