09.02.2001, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Swiss Parliament is preparing to discuss passage of an Armenian genocide law.
As the Turkish Cumhuriyet paper reports, the application prepared by Josef Zsyadis, a deputy of Greek origin, and signed by other four deputies, will be discussed in the Parliament in March. The Parliament will decide whether or not to prepare a law.
Meanwhile, Ankara is concerned over the new Armenian attempts in Switzerland. Diplomatic sources states bilateral relations between the two countries would be seriously damaged unless the attempts were prevented. –0–
