10 THOUSAND ARMENIANS RESIDING IN THE USA DEMAND COMPENSATION FOR MORAL AND MATERIAL DAMAGE FROM THE TURKISH GOVERNMENT

01.02.2001, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Member of Bureau of “Dashnaktsutiun” party Mario Nalbandian stated today at a press conference in Yerevan that about 10 thousand Armenians, residing in the United States, have already submitted actions, demanding compensation by the Turkish government for the material and moral damage inflicted by it during the Genocide of Armenians of 1915-23.
Mario Nalbandian also noted that in the question of international recognition of the Genocide of Armenians all the foreign structures of “Dashnaktsutiun” hold a coordinated policy with the Foreign Ministry of Armenia. –0–
