22.01.2001, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The problem of the Armenian-Turkish relations will be discussed at today’s meeting of Turkish national security council.
The recently returned from Azerbaijan foreign ministry undersecretary Faruk Logoglu will brief the council on his meetings with Azeri officials regarding plans to find joint political approaches towards Armenia, the Turkish NTV Channel reports.
It is expected that the Turkish national security council will also consider the detailed plan outlining what can be done in light of France’s decision to approve the bill, recognizing the Armenian Genocide.
This plan would not cause Turkey too much harm, the Turkish PM Ecevit said on Saturday. –0–
