12.01.2001, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. “Taking into consideration the present situation in Armenian-Turkish relations, the Georgian-Turkish military cooperation may cause serious troubles for Armenia”, said today Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian in the interview to “Hayots Ashkhar” daily.
Yerevan thinks that Tbilisi’s more neutral position in the matter of military cooperation in the region is an important factor for stability and peace achievement in Southern Caucasus, the Minister said.
“Armenia has repeatedly declared about this position, and we hope our future relations will be based upon this very principle”, Oskanian said. -0-
