INTERNATIONAL MEDIATORS POSTPONED VISIT TO KARABAKH CONFLICT REGION DUE TO AZERI PRESIDENT ILLNESS

The visit of the OSCE Minsk group to the zone of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict planned May 18 is postponed due to Azeri president Heydar Aliyev’s illness. Armenian foreign ministry press secretary Dzyunik Aghajanian told “Novosti” Russian agency. Let us remind the mediators held a meeting in Paris last week, where they discussed new proposals on the conflict settlement to be submitted to the parties to conflict in the course of the coming meetings with leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Nagorno Karabakh. The details of the proposals are not known yet.
