ARMENIA INCLUDED IN AUSTRALIA’S VISITOR RISK LIST

29.12.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Armenia together with Afghanistan, Brazil, North Korea and Mongolia is included in Australia’s immigration risk list, Australian Immigration Minister Philip Ruddock said according to Australian media reports.
Mr. Ruddock said nationals from these countries had demonstrated a tendency to overstay their visitor visas would take their place. However, inclusion on the list did not mean nationals from these countries would automatically be refused entry to Australia, he said. -0-
