Opposition forces of Armenia lodged a demand to recognize void the presidential decree “On holding referendum on the draft of amendments to the Armenian Constitution”. The suit was submitted by members of “Republic” party to a Yerevan first instance court today. According to the suit the presidential decree on appointing a referendum is at contrary to a number of items of the Constitution, laws on “Legal acts” and “On referendum,” the Armenian Civil Code.
