ARMENIA AND GREECE SHARE THE SAME VIEW IN THE CYPRUS ISSUE

20.11.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Armenia and Greece are natural allies. In the question of settling the Cyprus issue Yerevan speaks for its settlement within the framework of the UN resolution, and this coincides with the position of the Greek side. The President of Armenia Robert Kocharian stated this in the interview to the Greek “New Hellenic TV Net” television company before his upcoming official visit to Greece, which will start tomorrow.
President Kocharian also noted that Armenia and Greece are actively cooperating within the framework of international organizations and are actively holding “regular and consistent consultations”. -0-
