WESTERN STATES FACE DIFFICULTIES IN OPPOSING THE EFFORTS OF ARMENIAN DIASPORA AIMED AT RECOGNITION OF ARMENIAN GENOCIDE, RUSSIAN ANALYST SAID

09.11.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The recognition of the Armenian Genocide by the Russian State Duma in 1995 has stimulated the further discussion of this issue by the international community, Russian political analyst Andranik Margarian said in his interview to Mediamax.
According to Mihranian over the past several years most of the Western states attach importance to the moral aspect of foreign political activity. In this regard, the political analyst stressed that it is difficult for these states to oppose the efforts of the Armenian Diaspora aimed at recognition of the Armenian Genocide. –0–
