RECOGNITION OF ARMENIAN GENOCIDE BY HOUSE WOULD AFFECT THE MEDIATING ROLE OF UNITED STATES IN REGION, AZERI’S FOREIGN MINISTER SAYS

18.10.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. “The United States is co-chairman of the Minsk OSCE group and has taken on the commitment of objectively and fairly resolving the Karabakh problem. The recognition of the Armenian Resolution by the House of Representatives would affect the meditating role of the US”.
According to the information of the world mass media the Azeri Foreign Minister Vilayat Guliyev stated about it adding that “if the United States supports Armenia on this historical issue it will have a specific influence on resolving the Klarabakh conflict.”
The Azeri Foreign Minister also said that “Armenia’s future prosperity is linked with how it establishes relations with Azerbaijan and Turkey.” –0–
