EUROPEAN JUDO CHAMPIONSHIP IN ARMENIA FOR FIRST TIME

May 3 European Judo Championship will open in the Sport and Concert Complex of Yerevan among sportsmen under 23, at which chairman of the European Judo Union Marius Vizer will be present. As reported by “Arminfo” agency, judoists from 20 countries of the world will take part in the championship, except those of Turkey and Azerbaijan, which refused to send their sportsmen to Yerevan. Armenia will be represented at the championship by 14 judoists, seven of them – are representatives of the fair sex.
