BUSINESS FORUM DEDICATED TO ARMENIA IS TO TAKE PLACE IN SPRING 2001 IN THE USA

15.09.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Business forum, dedicated to investment perspectives in Armenia, will be held in May 2001 in New York, said today in Yerevan Oweys Saadat, World Bank representative in Armenia.
Mr. Saadat also said that representatives of organizations, rendering donor assistance to Armenia, will arrive in Yerevan October 19-20. Regional Director of WB Judy O’Connor will lead the World Bank delegation at the meeting, said Saadat.
This business forum, dedicated to Armenia, was postponed several times, and World Bank representatives made it clear that it was mainly connected with political unstableness in Armenia. The forum was to take place in May, and later – in October 2000 in London. -0-
