AZERI FOREIGN MINISTER SAYS NATO’S PARTICIPATION IN THE KARABAKH CONFLICT SETTLEMENT IS OUT OF QUESTION

05.09.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Any interference of NATO into the settlement of the Karabakh conflict is out of question at present, declared Azeri foreign minister Vilayat Guliyev in the interview to ANS TV company.
Guliyev said that the conflict should be solved within OSCE framework, as Armenia and Azerbaijan are members of this organization.
The foreign minister of Azerbaijan also said that it’s not time yet to speak about the possible accession of his country to NATO. -0-
