Mozilla Firefox 7 and 8 are already available in Armenian, Mozilla’s Armenian Localization Team member said.
Hrant Ohanyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that Firefox 7 can be downloaded from Mozilla official website. Armenian version of Firefox 8 will also be available for download within the coming days.
Official launch of Firefox 8 is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 8.
Ohanyan noted that the launch date of Mozilla mobile version in Armenian is still unknown.
The aim of Mozilla’s Armenian Localization Team is to translate Mozilla products into Armenian and to promote the Armenian language in IT field. The work is coordinated by two contributors of Mozilla Foundation Armen Zambrano Gasparian and Robert Sargsyan. There are also 11 volunteers in the team.
