11.07.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. On July 11, early in the morning, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, left for St. Peterbourg. His Holiness will consecrate the Armenian Church of St. Catherine.
In the course of the visit meetings of His Holiness with high-ranking state officials and the Armenian community are planned.
His Grace Bishop Navasard Ktchoyan, Vicar General of Araratian Patriarchal Diocese; Reverend Father Arshak Khachatrian; Mr. Rafayel Papayan, a member of the Supreme Spiritual Council, accompany His Holiness. His Holiness will return to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin on July 15. -0-
