Nov 23 was the last full day of practice for Argentina’s tennis team at the Tenis Club Argentino in Buenos Aires in preparation for December 2-4 Davis Cup Final in Seville, Spain.
Team captain Modesto Vasquez invited David Nalbandian, Juan Martin del Potro, Juan Monako, Juan Ignacio Chela and Eduardo Schwank to play in the event.
As Nalbandian said, both Argentine and Spanish squads are vying for victory. “Argentina’s long been dreaming to win the Cup as the only trophy our team misses. Hope this time we’ll get to it,” the player’s official blog quoted him as saying.
The team has already arrived in Spain to start training session at Seveille’s La Cartuja stadium Nov 26.
