Having earned 4 points, Aronian shares 3-5th places with Hikaru Nakamura (U.S.) and Vladimir Kramnik (Russia).
The 4th round pairings are as follows: Magnus Carlsen v Vladimir Kramnik; Michael Adams v Nigel Short; Vishy Anand v Hikaru Nakamura; David Howell v Luke McShane. Aronian will be assisting the commentary team.
