ARMENIA-88 PHOTO EXHIBITION OPENED IN TALLINN

Armenia-88 photo exhibition dedicated to the 15-th anniversary of the Spitak earthquake opened in the Estonian Department for Emergency Situations December 9. Photographs made in the disaster zone during the first days after the earthquake were presented at the exposition. According to the report by the Armenian National Union of Estonia, a set of photographs was presented to the local Armenian community by head of RA MFA department Jivan Movsesian during his visit to Estonia in 1990. Director of the Estonian Department for Emergency Situations Mati Raydma, deputies of the Estonian parliament, Armenia’s honorary consul in Estonia Gagic Iknoian, superior of the Armenian Church in Tallinn and Estonia-Armenia Society president Ptiyt Herodes made speeches at the opening ceremony.
