Today, December 12, VimpelCom annual conference titled “Technologies and Telecommunications in Mass Media” kicked off at Armenia Marriott Hotel.
Organized by ArmenTel, the event brought together journalists from Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan .
“Our annual conference aims to exchange experience among media representatives from various countries and understand the shifts of media role in modern communication,” head of VimpelCom PR department for CIS states Artyom Minayev said.
“ArmenTel has achieved major progress over past several years. Today a great positive change is noticeable in our service centers with utterly different professional staff,” Armentel CJSC director general Igor Klimko said.
Conference speakers are Maria Korobkova from ComNews Research, Ksenia Boletskaya from Vedomosti newspaper and nomobile.ru project coordinator Nikolay Turubar as well as author and blogger Leonid Kaganov.
