EU-Armenia talks regarding free trade zone creation will be launched in the near future, the head of the European Union Delegation to Armenia said.
At EU-Armenia meeting, Traian Hristea confirmed EU commitment to strengthen ties with the countries of the region.
“Eastern Partnership is a vivid proof of EU aspiration to improve relations with these states,” Mr. Hristea said, hailing Armenia’s European integration process.
Secretary of the National Security Council Artur Baghdasayran, in turn, noted that Armenia has implemented all provisions of 2009-2011 Euro integration plan and is currently developing action plan for 2012-2013 to be presented to Armenian President in the first quarter of 2012.
