NATO EXERCISES IN ARMENIA TO HIGHLY BENEFIT COUNTRY ARMED FORCES, ARMENIAN DEFENSE MINISTER CONSIDERS

The holding of military exercises in Armenia within “Partnership for Peace” NATO program will be of high benefit for the Armed Forces of the country. As reported by “Arka” agency, Armenian defense minister Serge Sargsian told journalists today. In his words, “there is much to learn from the North-Atlantic Alliance” for Armenian troops. “If we add the organization and high degree of controllability of NATO troops to the morale of Armenian soldier, we will have the army we would ideally wish to have,” – the minister said. Let us note that “Cooperative Best Effort 2003” military maneuvers will be held in Armenia this June.
