The Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc will resume the “wave of rallies” from February 17 on, with current President Serzh Sargsyan’s resignation and fair elections as main demands on agenda.
According to ANC press service, the Congress’ electoral platform published January 19 contains proposals for organizing transparent elections and establishing the rule of legal authorities in the country.
Also, ANC welcomed the joint statement urging for a full shift to proportional electoral system by Heritage and ARF Dashnaktsutyun opposition parties, with a relevant forum due January 20.
